Margy Poorman is the president and CEO of the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce and began her new position on June 1, 2021. Ms. Poorman brings an extensive background in economic development, advocacy and municipal experience positioning the Chamber for continued growth. Most recently, she served as the public policy and legislative coordinator for AultCare, a healthcare insurance provider in Northeast Ohio. Prior to her time with AultCare, Ms. Poorman served as the director of economic community development and planning for the City of Canton, and Vice President at the Regional Growth Partnership (RGP) in Northwest Ohio. Ms. Poorman believes in giving back to her community through volunteerism and has a passion for Habitat for Humanity, for which she was a board member for many years in Northeast Ohio.
