Hello everyone. We hope you’re enjoying your summer. We certainly are here in the Greater Fort Knox Region. We couldn’t think of a better place to call home. Speaking of home, the KRDA team is so proud and appreciative of our new office courtesy of the City of Radcliff. Our thanks to Mayor Duvall, the Radcliff City Council, Ashley Russo, and the public works team for having our space move-in ready ahead of schedule.
Thanks to everyone who came out for our ribbon cutting with the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce and the Radcliff Small Business Alliance. It really exemplified the community’s collaborative spirit and commitment to the work of KRDA. We’ve already put our space to good use hosting our executive committee, as well as meetings with contractors pursuing potential business opportunities on Fort Knox.
This time of year marks the return of Cadet Summer Training (CST) when Fort Knox’s population surges by an additional 14,000 ROTC cadets to the community, including their families for family days and CST graduation. We encourage everyone to take in one of the graduation ceremonies and get a glimpse of the Army’s future leaders. It’s always inspiring.
Please continue to keep the V Corps Soldiers and their families in your thoughts and prayers while the unit is deployed to Europe in support of NATO allies. We remain in contact with Fort Knox leaders on any specific ways the community can provide support and we’ll keep you posted on any news of their return.
Time and again Fort Knox leaders talk about the unmatched support our community provides and we know that plays a role in readiness and keeping Fort Knox strong. Thanks for all you do and have a great rest of your summer.
Warm Regards,
Ray and Jim
