Brad Richardson is a highly respected economic developer. He worked in state government in the Cabinet for Economic development and led the Greater Louisville economic partnership. He also worked in commercial Real Estate and was a small business owner. He eventually returned to Hardin County, where he grew up, to lead the North Hardin Economic Development Authority. He also spearheaded the One Knox initiative to help the region prepare for the growth associated with the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure. Finally, Brad served as the first CEO of the merged Hardin County Chamber of Commerce. Under his leadership, the chamber partnered with the CORE Committee to establish KRDA.
A coordinated and proactive approach to economic development, like KRDA, has always been a best practice. I’m proud to have played a role in establishing KRDA and am even more proud to see the valuable support it provides.
