What is KRDA?
Knox Regional Development Alliance is a private-public regional alliance focused on protecting and promoting Fort Knox to increase its economic impact. KRDA works with the community to do all we can for Soldiers, civilian employees, their families and Fort Knox.
Goals:
- Advocate for new missions and retain existing missions at Fort Knox
- Expand defense contractor business and presence in the region
- Develop more public-public and public-private partnerships
- Advocate and facilitate improved support for Soldiers and their families
Mission: KRDA, through focused and cooperative engagements, will protect and promote Fort Knox to increase its economic impact on the Greater Fort Knox Region and the state of Kentucky.
Vision: A viable/thriving Fort Knox and surrounding communities mutually supporting missions, citizens, Soldiers and economic development.
Values: KRDA will foster an environment of dignity and respect for all people in all places. We will conduct ourselves with integrity and honor and encourage our partners to do the same. Our investors and community are essential to success; therefore we will be exceptional stewards of resources and communicate regularly to maintain awareness.
KRDA is governed by a 30-member board made up of community leaders and investors from across the Greater Fort Knox Region.
