Ray Springsteen is President/CEO of Abound Credit Union and has spent his entire career in the Credit Union industry. A long-time supporter of community advocacy for Fort Knox, Ray co-chaired the capital campaign that established KRDA and serves as the organization’s first Board Chairman. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Credit Union League and serves on the Powers Committee for the Credit Union National Association. Ray has also actively championed for financial literacy education and advocated for the legislation that requires it for all high school students in Kentucky. In 2022, Abound was recognized as the Credit Union of the Year by the National Association of Federally Chartered Credit Unions.
