Colonel retired Bill Betson served in the Army for 29 years. In his final military assignment, he served as the Chief of the Commander's Planning Group at U.S. Army Cadet Command. Following his retirement, Bill served as a Senior Consultant to the Mounted Maneuver Battle Lab at Fort Knox and then as a Special Advisor to the Commanding General of Cadet Command. In addition to KRDA, he also serves on the board of the local chapter of AUSA and the Military Officers Association of America as well as the Planning and Zoning Commission for the city of Vine Grove.
Having a dedicated, proactive community effort like KRDA to ensure our community is doing all it can to support the installation is invaluable. It reflects positively with Senior Army and Department of Defense leaders.
