Soldiers, Army Families, Army civilian employees, state and local leaders as well as area community members converged on Brooks Parade Field to form the words FORT KNOX in celebration of the post’s centennial — a feat Soldiers carried out here 100 years ago.
Also, the Association of Defense Communities presented the Greater Fort Knox Region with a flag naming us 2018 Great American Defense Community – one of only five in the country.
