Typically, this is a joint message from the CEO and board chair, but Marilyn graciously let me send the message solo this time so I can have the opportunity to say how excited and blessed I am to have the opportunity to lead this organization, serve this community and, by extension of our mission, continue serving Fort Knox Soldiers and their families.
My thanks to BG (Ret) Iacocca for growing KRDA into one of the most respected defense community organizations in the nation. I look forward to building upon his success. My thanks also to the community leaders who understand the importance of Fort Knox to our national defense and regional economy and saw fit to establish and fund KRDA. I have had the opportunity to meet with a number of you over the past two months and it only reinforced what I already knew – the Greater Fort Knox Region is second to none. It is why Fort Knox was my number one choice for command and why my family, who has lived in countless places, has long considered Fort Knox home.
As we approach the holidays surrounded by families and friends, I encourage us all to remember our deployed service men and women and their families who can’t celebrate the season together.
I look forward to working with all of you to promote and protect Fort Knox and position it for future growth.
Warm Regards,
Col. (Ret)
